Torres UT to Provo, UT

Today was a short day we elected to take a more direct route to Provo, UT. the place we will spend the night.

However, we did go through the Capitol Reef National Park.   I will most more images and videos later but here is a snippet just entering from the west on Utah Highway 24.

We also went on the western side of Manti-La Sal National Forest.  It is not like the National Forests we see in the south.

The place we stayed was nice.  Torrey, UT is a very small town.  but they have four or five motels and several restaurants.  Everything is seasonal it seems.

Notice the number of bikes.   Two Honda Goldwings and one Kawasaki and about four BMWs.

The place we ate breakfast was just down the road about 3/4 mi.  Here is the view from the table we were sitting at (I know the truck is in the way.)
